This role partners with department leaders and the Assistant Manager of Accounting and Finance to provide financial information and insights that support effective decision-making. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Lead and supervise the accounting team, setting goals and objectives, delegating tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, resolving issues, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. * Review/Approve bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers. * Manage fixed asset schedules and depreciation records. * Manage accounts payable.  * Manage internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations. * Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. * Budgeting and forecasting activities as needed. * Improve accounting processes and internal controls. * Manage Cash Flow/LOC/Banking Relationships. * Manage Jonas (ERP) processes related to accounting and financial reporting. * Oversee sales and use tax compliance and payments. * Collaborate with the Assistant Manager of Accounting and Finance on the following job functions: * Manage accounts receivable. * Review and approve journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. * Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. * Manage financial statements preparation, variance reports, and supporting schedules. * Provide financial insights to company leadership that support effective decision-making. * Other duties as assigned by Management. EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES: * A college degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
