Job Description AECOM is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead the digital design coordination and planning of complex infrastructure projects like airports and railway system. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the BIM strategy for Transport Projects, conducting technical ICE (Integrated Concurrent Engineering) sessions, and ensuring the proper implementation of BIM documentation and standards across multidisciplinary teams in different geographies. This position will be based in our Bogota, Colombia office. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage BIM planning and execution for large-scale infrastructure projects Facilitate and lead ICE meetings with a strong technical focus Develop, implement, and maintain BIM documentation, including BEPs and project standards. Experience working and administering a Common Data Environment such as Autodesk Construction Cloud or Bentley ProjectWise Coordinate large-scale design elements such as terminals and control towers using BIM tools like Navisworks, Coordination Module of ACC and NewForma. Provide ongoing BIM support and guidance to design teams across disciplines Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in design consultancy or construction, ideally in infrastructure projects and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience coordinating or producing BIM-based designs in multidisciplinary engineering projects, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and education Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Advanced proficiency in Revit and Civil 3D, with Autodesk certifications Expertise in Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), BIMTrack and Power BIM Solid understanding of ISO 19650 standards Bilingual fluency (Spanish-English), with a minimum English level of B2 Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Project Management or BIM Management Certification in BIM methodologies Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting Experience with programming tools such as Python and Dynamo Additional Information Sponsorship for Colombia work authorization is not available for this position, now or in the future.
