Job Description The Buildings+Places division of AECOM is seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Graduate for employment out of the Markham, ON office. This role is expected to begin for either January or May 2026 Major Responsibilities: A key member of the mechanical design team participating in design and construction administration of various facilities, including occasional out-of-town travel; Design of Plumbing, Fire Protection and HVAC systems; Perform Energy and HVAC calculations and analysis using industry programs (i.e. Carrier HAP); Ability to use and create excel spreadsheets to assist with calculations and analysis; Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 2D AutoCAD and MicroStation; Assist with the design and drafting of mechanical systems in 3D such as REVIT; Must be able to prepare written reports and deliver results in a clear manner to technical or non-technical persons; Strong communication skills, spoken and written; Experienced at using computers and utilizing Windows, e-mail, internet, MS Word, and Excel; Able to work independently or as part of a team.
