Job Description The Resident Engineer - E&M will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical and mechanical (E&M) works for metro projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in E&M systems, project execution, and stakeholder coordination. The candidate will ensure the successful delivery of E&M systems, adhering to quality, safety, and project timelines while meeting international standards. Job Duties: Project Oversight Lead and manage the execution of electrical and mechanical works for metro projects. Ensure all E&M activities are carried out in compliance with project specifications, standards, and timelines. Design Review & Coordination Review and approve E&M designs, drawings, and technical specifications. Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of E&M systems. Installation, Testing & Commissioning Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of E&M systems, including HVAC, power supply, lighting, fire detection, and other related systems. Ensure proper functionality and integration of E&M systems with other project components. Quality Assurance Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards. Identify and address any deviations or non-conformities in E&M works. Safety Compliance Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in E&M activities. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary point of contact for E&M-related matters with clients, contractors, and consultants. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders. Progress Monitoring & Reporting Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on E&M activities for senior management. Identify potential delays and implement corrective measures to maintain project schedules. Team Leadership Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians involved in E&M works. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. Qualifications Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or related field).
