Job Description The Site Engineer - E&M will be responsible for supervising and managing the execution of electrical and mechanical works at metro project sites. This role requires a professional with a strong engineering background, hands-on experience in E&M systems, and a focus on quality, safety, and timely project delivery. The candidate will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of E&M systems in metro projects. Job Duties: Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards at sites. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to resolve site-related issues. Review CRD/ Shop drawings, vendor submittals as per technical specifications, and other project documentation. Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements and industry standards. Ensure timely availability of resources, materials, and equipment for uninterrupted site operations. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of E&M systems, including HVAC, Firefighting, Fire detection and alarm and BMS system. To carry out measurements of E&M works as per approved drawings. Ensure proper integration of E&M systems with other systems. Conduct inspections and ensure that all E&M activities meet the required quality standards. Identify and address any deviations or non-conformities in construction practices at sites. Enforce a safe working environment for all personnel on-site and work is carried out as per safety protocols. Conduct regular safety audits and address any hazards or risks identified. Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports for submission to senior management. Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines. Provide technical guidance to contractors and resolve any engineering-related challenges on-site. Qualifications Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or related field).
