RESPONSIBILITIES:  * Participate and attend meetings. * Maintain the staff distribution and update weekly headcount data. * Maintain Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records and compile reports from the database. * Assist employees with HRIS self-service program and promote the usage of all self-service programs and applications. * Work together with plant management to achieve efficient production and employee satisfaction. * Relay information, questions, and requests to the proper channels, and if needed, retrieve and distribute the responses appropriately. * Assume other duties as assigned by supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS:  * Must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of Human Resources experience as a Human Resource Generalist, as a Coordinator, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.   * Minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in an HR Generalist role. * Bilingual in conversational Spanish is required. * SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. * Must have the ability to exercise solid judgment when determining when to elevate employee relations issues to the HR Plan Manager. * Must be detail-oriented and accurate in all functions. * Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. * Able to handle confidential information with great sensitivity. * Able to work with limited supervision and high motivation. * Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. * Able to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines on the 2nd shift. * Strong computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and HRIS system).
