• We are a leading group in the development of machine learning potentials and their application to various topics in chemistry and materials science. The projects will involve the development and implementation of advanced methods to represent high-dimensional potential energy surfaces employing neural networks. Moreover, atomistic simulations of various systems like complex materials, interfaces or chemistry in solution will be performed. The newly established Research Center Chemical Sciences and Sustainability offers an exciting interdisciplinary research environment with state-of-the-art equipment and excellent working conditions.
