El rol participará en el diseño y desarrollo de sistemas de protección contra incendios para proyectos de edificación, colaborando con equipos en México y Estados Unidos y asegurando el cumplimiento de códigos y normativas aplicables. Principales responsabilidades • Diseñar, desarrollar y coordinar proyectos de protección contra incendios y Fire & Life Safety, asegurando el cumplimiento de códigos y normativas vigentes. • Elaborar planos, modelos y memorias técnicas utilizando AutoCAD y Revit. • Realizar diseños y cálculos de sistemas de redes contra incendios, incluyendo rociadores automáticos, sistemas secos y de pre-acción. • Diseñar y modelar sistemas de detección de humo y alarmas contra incendio. • Coordinar con otras disciplinas para garantizar la correcta ejecución del proyecto. • Participar en reuniones técnicas con equipos de México y Estados Unidos, y con clientes o agencias regulatorias cuando sea requerido. • Responder procesos administrativos de construcción como RFIs y Submittals en inglés. • Participar en revisiones técnicas y aseguramiento de calidad de los proyectos asignados. • Apoyar la capacitación y acompañamiento de perfiles junior y trainees. Antecedentes profesionales y requisitos • Formación profesional en Ingeniería Civil, Mecánica, Arquitectura o carrera afín. • 3 a 5 años de experiencia en diseño de proyectos de protección contra incendios / Fire & Life Safety. • Manejo de Revit / Revit MEP y AutoCAD. • Experiencia con software de cálculo hidráulico (EPANET, HASS, HYDRACAD u otros). • Conocimiento de códigos y normativas aplicables (NFPA, IBC, IFC, IPC, UPC, FM, ASPE). • Conocimiento y experiencia en diseño de sistemas de rociadores automáticos y redes hidráulicas contra incendios. • Experiencia deseable en sistemas de detección y alarmas (NFPA 72). • Inglés intermedio (B1 mínimo, B2 deseable) para lectura de documentación técnica y participación en reuniones. • Capacidad de autogestión, trabajo colaborativo, pensamiento crítico y orientación a la calidad técnica.
