JOB SUMMARY The Coordinator will function as one of two departmental coordinators and will focus primarily, but not solely, on adult volunteers. This position will coordinate volunteers to include recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling assignments, providing ongoing support, and maintaining accurate records. The Coordinator will collaborate with hospital and clinic staff to identify needs, ensuring volunteers receive appropriate guidance. The coordinator will be familiar with all volunteer roles within the volunteer system and the institution and will assist with on-site engagement. The coordinator will place the volunteer appropriately and with the Administrative Assistant and will work with software systems to maintain volunteer PeopleSoft (POI) status and statistics.
