In this role, you’ll be the technical bridge between our Client Services team and our engineering department. When domain or system issues arise, you'll investigate, troubleshoot using your expertise, and drive resolution. But you won't stop there, you'll collaborate with Product and Engineering to implement systemic improvements that keep issues from happening again. What you'll get to do... Be the technical detective – Investigate client-reported issues using your specialized DNS knowledge, determine whether they're bugs, systemic problems, or isolated incidents, and conduct root cause analysis to uncover underlying issues. Drive problems to permanent resolution – Coordinate cross-functional efforts to resolve client issues quickly, then collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to implement fixes that prevent recurrence. Bridge technical and business worlds – Translate complex platform and DNS information into clear, straightforward explanations that empower Client Services and internal stakeholders. Own the issue lifecycle – Maintain clear communication from investigation through resolution, ensuring clients stay informed and issues are thoroughly documented for future prevention. Strong DNS and database skills – Solid understanding of DNS concepts. Experience with registry-registrar operations – Hands-on work with EPP, ccTLD configurations, and the technical complexities of domain management systems. Root cause analysis and cross-functional collaboration – Proven track record of identifying systemic issues and partnering with engineering teams to implement permanent solutions.
