Description Serves as a key member of the Kansas Farm Bureau team supporting County Farm Bureaus in strengthening local programming and sustaining a vibrant, grassroots organizational structure. Builds and maintains strong relationships with County Farm Bureau boards, producers, agricultural businesses, community organizations, and elected officials to support membership growth and foster strategic partnerships that benefit agriculture and rural communities. Oversees issues and initiatives and manages contract county staff within the assigned district. Also handles emerging priorities as directed by the supervisor or organizational leadership. This position is a full-time remote position. Candidate must reside in Kansas within 30 miles of the assigned district serving the following ten Kansas counties: Atchison, Brown, Doniphan, Jackson, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Nemaha, Pottawatomie, Shawnee, and Wyandotte. Moderate travel within the area will be required and a company vehicle provided. Requirements Supports, guides, and strengthens county Farm Bureau programs, services, and activities. Builds strategic relationships with producers, elected officials, businesses, and community leaders to ensure Kansas Farm Bureau remains a relevant and impactful presence within the district and statewide. Attends County Farm Bureau Board meetings, providing training and support as needed. Supervises assigned contracted county Farm Bureau staff as assigned. Serves as a resource person for county Farm Bureau leaders on basic employment and personnel matters. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with five years’ experience in business, program management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
