Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools and Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies are required to be successful in this role. Position Overview: The Assistant Project Manager will lead and coordinate development projects from initiation through delivery. This role requires a focus on cross-functional collaboration, integrating teams through streamlined systems and processes, and ensuring alignment between business objectives, technical execution, and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will excel at building structure where there is complexity, enabling multiple teams to work efficiently toward shared goals while leveraging tools, workflows, and best practices that enhance communication and accountability. Project Leadership Work with department Director and Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Define clear project goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders. Team Integration & Process Optimization Develop and maintain standardized project management processes, documentation templates, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and reporting structures. Assist in write in bug and stories rewrite ups, respond, prioritize application feature requests, help manage the backlog (through DevOps), and monitor our ticketing system (Zendesk) Implement and optimize collaboration tools (e.g., ClickUp, Monday.com, Microsoft Power Apps, etc) to streamline workflows and centralize communication. Foster cross-departmental alignment by establishing clear handoff points, accountability matrices, and feedback loops. Work with Lines and Departments to facilitate the integration of M&A/Growth initiatives Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for project status updates, risk identification, and issue resolution. Facilitate effective communication across development, design, product, operations, and leadership teams. Risk & Quality Management Identify potential risks and dependencies early; develop mitigation strategies. Ensure deliverables meet established quality standards and are aligned with business requirements. Continuous Improvement Conduct post-project reviews to identify process improvements. Champion a culture of continuous learning, agile adaptation, and operational efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). 2+ years in project management, preferably in software development, product development, or systems implementation. Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies. PowerBi certified (preferred) Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., ClickUp, Monday.com, etc).
