PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:
The Assistant Manager, Social Media will assist in driving innovation in storytelling & publishing across our @adidas brand social media platforms, adidas’ partner platforms and new media. In partnership with the Senior Manager, Social Media execute against the adidas Global Category and Market owned and partner network
This person will work directly with the Senior Manager of Social Media to define the social editorial calendar for key initiatives and influence the day-to-day publishing to the category’s social communities. This person will act as a Newsroom key point of contact for either Originals/Lifestyle, Sportwear and/or Outdoor and its consumer across all relevant social platforms.
Secondary focus on the wider @adidas brand channel ecosysystem, creating engaging content plans and experiences which drive conversation both one to one and at scale, and connecting them to adidas’ wider digital world—adidas.com & adidas app, prioritizing membership. Ensure innovation is landed in key campaigns across social platforms.
In collaboration with sports marketing and culture marketing teams, ensure brand stories are amplified through adidas partner portfolio and network channels with consistency, scale and impact. Make sure we are recognized as best in class for social media (paid & organic).
