POSITION: STORE ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR NEW LOCATION IN LEVITTOWN, PA. COMING SOON

Mrs. Shar’s Cookies is a growing cookie bake shop, known for its delicious and freshly baked cookies and cakes. We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Store Assistant Manager.
As the Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of the cookie store. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring the store runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, scheduling, onboarding new hires and generating reports
- Train and supervise team members, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands and minimize waste
- Bake and decorate cookies according to company standards and recipes
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and satisfactory resolutions
- Manage the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for both customers and employees
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Assist in creating and implementing employee schedules
- Assist in creating and maintaining budgets, as well as monitoring and analyzing store financial performance
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred
- 1 YEAR Prior experience in a bakery food service environment required, preferably in a team lead or supervisor role
- 1 Year Baking experience must have been in a bakery, box store (Sam’s club, Costco etc.. Supermarket)
- Must be able to show decorating and baking knowledge and skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic accounting skills
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for cookies and providing excellent customer service
