Position Summary: This Print Finishing Apprentice position is responsible for operating equipment to execute customer projects with excellence. They will also be responsible for assisting with custom-finishing operations where needed. 2nd shift: Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 1am 2nd shift differential: 15% shift differential Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and run equipment to produce quality results. Complete work in a timely manner as defined by production schedules. Understand requirements and ensure finished work effectively drives down stream processes. Accountability for the quality of worked produced. Recognize errors quickly and ensure completed work meets our quality standards. Assist with hand-finishing projects as needed. The duties and responsibilities described are not an all-inclusive list and tasks may change or new ones may be assigned at any time. Requirements Education/Experience: High school or GED preferred. 1+ years Experience operating machines/equipment. Additional years of education and experience may be substituted for each other, as determined by Human Resources. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Possess manual dexterity and is mechanically inclined with ability to trouble shoot. Strong, efficient work ethic that can thrive in a high stress, fast paced, deadline driven environment. Follow through with responsibilities while following safety rules, processes and best practices. Proven organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines, prioritize workload and make adjustment to meet business needs. Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
