A Deputy Director of Estates position is available at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves strategic and operational leadership for the Estates and Facilities function, ensuring a safe and compliant environment for patients and staff. The successful candidate will manage the Estates team, oversee financial management, and contribute to the Trust’s capital projects and redevelopment plans.
To provide strategic and professional leadership to the management, development and efficient utilisation of the E&FM services.
To lead strategic and operational management of the E&FM services, across the Trust.
To ensure that the effective delivery of the E&FM functions is undertaken in accordance with national standards and recognised industry best practice.
To provide safe, secure and high quality patient and staff environments in the Trust’s facilities.
Ensure appropriate arrangements are in place to manage any outsourced contracts.
To maintain and deliver a culture within the E&FM team in which all staff deliver the highest quality, patient-centred, support services.
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
