The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a medical provider. Assists Physician/ARNP or RN with direct patient care. Under direction and supervision by medical professional staff: administer injections, room patients, take vitals, record chief complaints, and assist with minor surgeries/procedures with a medical provider. The Medical Assistant interacts regularly with patients, coworkers, and various other people on a day-to-day basis within the medical clinic and displays a friendly manner, a commitment to service, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Wage Range: $23.00 - $24.77 Per Hour. Schedule: Monday Through Thursday, 8:00 am -7:00 pm FTE: 1.0 This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement.
