Our Crisis Intervention team is a close-knit group that provides 24/7 crisis services through phone support, mobile response, and walk-in assessments. Under the guidance of the Crisis Clinician Supervisor, you'll offer compassionate care to individuals of all ages facing self-identified crises. Responsibilities include crisis counseling, de-escalation, clinical assessment, coordination of services and meeting with clients within our community. This is a night shift position, 11p-6a, four days per week. Schedule is built on a six-week rotation. Some weekends and holidays will be required. The dress code is business casual, and parking is provided on site at no cost. Responsibilities: Complete Crisis Clinician orientation and build core skills in assessment, de-escalation, documentation, motivational interviewing, and EMR use. Safely manage assigned crisis caseloads, conduct face-to-face and phone assessments, and respond effectively to crisis situations. Provide person-centered, strength-based supportive counseling to promote consumer stability. Collaborate with leadership and Clinician II to develop disposition plans, coordinate referrals, and advocate for appropriate program admissions. Maintain documentation standards, participate in interdisciplinary activities, complete case reviews, and support a safe therapeutic milieu. Bachelor's degree in psychology, Counseling or Social Work. Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in human services and/or relevant mental health experience. Consistent ability to respond calmly and effectively, using good clinical judgment to both psychiatric and medical emergencies. Recovery-oriented interpersonal relations. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with a Direct Care Worker Certificate or CNA certification. A valid Medication Technician certification from the State of Pennsylvania is also required.
