QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• 5 years+ Top 5 Retail experience in a food and beverage account management environment
• Highly knowledgeable of the food industry
• Understanding of cost base tracking
• Strong communication and stakeholder management qualities
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
• Third level degree qualified (preferred).

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting role with huge opportunity for the right person and will also include some European travel. The person will be a self starter and able to demonstrate the skills and qualities required to manage such an important account. Leading and driving a Cross Functional Team, the successful candidate will play an instrumental role within our business and have very close working relationships with our manufacturing, R&D, Supply Chain and Commercial Finance colleagues. The successful candidate will spend time at our manufacturing and customer sites, allowing you to build really strong relationships. Due to the nature of the role, candidates need to have exceptional stakeholder management skills and be confident in dealing with all levels up to and including CEO. At Kerry DCF, we operate a hybrid working model with 2 days a week in our Staines, Surrey, based office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivery of sales budget and target on an annual basis
• Creating integrated plans that deliver the joint customer and Kerry strategy
• Accountable for customer performance, creating and ensuring JBP is a working document bought into by all stakeholders and reflects and achieves sales, profit & volume objectives for Kerry
• Responsible for the negotiation and delivery of all new business wins and pricing agreements
• Responsible for expert knowledge of their customer, its competitors and the market they operate in
• Responsible for ensuring all price and commercial agreements are agreed with customers and aligned to Kerry strategies and fully implemented with the customer
• Responsible for driving availability and customer orders as well as Kerry service levels (order fulfillment through to accounts received)
• Actively work with Demand Planning to ensure that the customer sales forecast is accurately reflected in the business sales forecast
• Manage stakeholder groups within one or more customers (internal & external)
