Job Summary: Matrix Design Group seeks an experienced Senior Planner capable of leading complex planning projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting both community and military compatibility planning. The Senior Planner will manage project scope, schedule, budget, public engagement, and technical planning tasks while contributing to business development and client relationships. Essential Functions: * Lead/manage planning projects including scope, schedule, budget, and staff.  * Direct and supervise junior and intermediate planners.  * Coordinate with clients, agencies, and stakeholders to obtain project requirements and approvals.  * Efficient project management of multiple concurrent projects; demonstrates the ability to readily identify potential problems and responsive solutions on a project. * Highly effective in building and maintaining client relationships. * Manage and organize public consultation programs, including making recommendations for key findings to the client.  * Provide mentorship to junior and intermediate level planners, including career development recommendations. * Prepare and present proposals to potential clients and assist with proposal development.  * Prepare technical documents, presentations, and other related planning products.  * Meet with clients and their representatives as an individual or part of a team to explain details, resolve issues, answer questions, develop strategies / solutions to planning issues and maintain positive relationships.
