We are pleased to offer this Part-time position an Employee Assistance Program, 401k, Paid CA Sick time on an accrued basis. The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.35 per hour. Offers will be based on the successful candidate's experience. Essential Accountabilities Provide field trip pricing and information for any organization interested in visiting the zoo. Prepare and organize supplies groups will need during their zoo visit. Check in, collect payment, and distribute supplies to groups on the day of their visit. Be available to assist groups throughout their visit Assist the experience stations at giraffe feeding and stingray bay as needed. Track inventory of all field trip supplies Connect our guests to the mission of the zoo. Ability to interact with Zoo guests in a friendly, professional manner at all times. Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two years’ experience in a customer service role, including cash-handling responsibilities. General knowledge of accounting procedures preferred. Excellent written and verbal English communications skills required. Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) communication skills a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Office PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS These are physical and mental requirements of the position as it is typically performed.
