They will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant regulations, and providing support for various payroll-related inquiries. What Winning Looks Like: Process Payroll: Ensure accurate payroll for all employees, including deductions and hours worked. Tax Compliance: Manage tax withholdings, filings, and prepare W-2s and 1099s. Timekeeping: Review timecards and resolve discrepancies. Benefit Deductions: Process deductions for benefits and handle legal withholdings. Reporting: Prepare payroll reports and assist with reconciliations. Compliance & Audits: Ensure payroll follows regulations and compliance for assigned stores, assists with audits. Employee Support: Address payroll-related questions and resolve issues. System Maintenance: Keep payroll systems updated and efficient. Collaborate: Partner effectively with HR, IT, Accounting, and other functions to ensure an appropriate flow of data and reporting. Communication: Effectively communicate with employees with respect to Payroll, Time & Attendance, Pay Plans, tax withholdings, and other topics as needed. Other duties as assigned.
