You will utilize models and data to estimate potential losses and devise strategies for risk mitigation. This role will also incorporate factors such as climate change into their models to accurately reflect its influence on insurance portfolios. You will also employ catastrophe models that simulate various disaster scenarios to assess the hazard and vulnerability of insured properties. What can you expect? You will join a team of Catastrophe Advisors that use engineering and economic research to determine the impact various hazard scenarios (e.g., earthquake, flood, typhoon, etc.) will have on insurance companies’ property damage and resulting financial loss.
