Hire and train new technical instructors to become effective facilitators; own the train-the-trainer design and implementation for on-shift trainers and area training leads. Mentor, coach, develop, and evaluate your team of learning professionals through challenging learning projects and programs. Manage team members through all performance evaluations, job training needs, and other managerial responsibilities as needed. Act as a subject matter expert and learning consultant. Build technical, service, and digital knowledge, skills, and behavior models and assessments supporting the talent development. Ensure the creation of professional instructor-led and virtual/online training programs and learning solutions that meet the identified learning objectives of the facility. Develop subject matter expertise in new machines and tools, products, or processes that are brought into the plant, and serve as a subject matter expert in the creation of learning materials for these new areas using defined processes. Develop standardized competency matrixes for manufacturing direct and indirect staff.
