In this role, you’ll build and improve preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance programs to support a high-performing operation. Your work directly impacts equipment reliability, production efficiency, and plant performance — and you’ll be the go-to leader when challenges arise. Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day: Hands-on Management Spend the majority of your time (about 80%) on the plant floor, leading and supporting your maintenance team, and 20% performing administrative duties Utilize ERP system to manage and assign workloads Partner closely with Operations leaders to proactively prevent downtime and solve problems fast Oversee a team of plant technicians and specialists regarding maintenance. Act as a point of contact for questions, coaching and guidance. Manage projects for new equipment installations and equipment rebuilds Layout, read and fabricate to construction drawings. Lead troubleshooting through planning, and execution in both mechanical and electrical breakdowns Maintain detailed records of equipment history, repairs, and completed work Manage plant maintenance costs, plant process reliability, and subcontractors onsite at plant location Collaborate with outside contractors, and vendors. Assist with calculations, projections and applications for fabrication and layout.
