Job Summary
Reporting to the ECE Floor Supervisor and/or Childhood Manager, the Headstart Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) will support the delivery of high-quality, culturally rooted early childhood education to children ages 0–6 through the 3–5 and Multiage Programs. Working under the direction of ECE staff, this role promotes the physical, emotional, intellectual, creative, and social development of children in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. The ECEA will also assist in implementing the six core components of the Aboriginal Head Start On-Reserve (AHSOR) program and contribute to cultural activities in collaboration with Elders, families, and community members.
