Position Summary: The Field Mechanic position works at various locations. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. Essential Functions: Responsible for 70 – 100 pieces of equipment per region. Manage Deployment of Equipment across regions, cities and states. Knowledge of equipment mechanics ranging from as large as a crane to as small as a chain saw. Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance on a job site in various weather conditions. Troubleshooting in various localities regarding equipment repair, maintenance and deployment. Frequently work around energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others while performing job. Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order. Does all other related work as required to complete the job. Other Requirements: Requires 1-5 years experience. Able to perform rigorous physical labor. Experience or schooling in mechanics. Must have or be able to obtain CDL license within the 60 days of employment. Must have own general tools.
