JOB SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking an experienced technologist to work in the Kemptville area with experience in all aspects of construction and interior/exterior renovations, both commercial and residential.
The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of all construction techniques used in all stages of residential construction. The candidates should also be knowledgeable in rough carpentry.
You need to be organized and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while completing all facets of residential construction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Meticulous attention to detail and precise-to-plan quality
· Hard working
· Ability to work well in a team and on your own
· Ability to read and interpret measurements in metric and imperial
· Experience working with hand tools
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
· Able to work in a safe manner while following company safety policies and regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

· 3-5 years’ experience in residential home construction in Canada
· Training in WHMIS, Fall Protect, Workers Health & Safety Awareness will be considered an asset but LA Group will provide training if needed.
· Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
