Description

Well established and growing company is looking for a Purchasing Assistant for its East Dundee facility. Strong candidates possess excellent verbal/written communication and analytical skills. Ability to assist purchasing team with all facets of recordkeeping, report generation and validation, custom clearance and in house report preparation.
Schedule would be Monday – Friday from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of and passion for fish and small animals -Huge Plus!
  • Ability to read and understand protocols.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent to draw applicable conclusions.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • High skill in time management
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written and electronic means.
  • 6 months experience

  • Perform tasks as backup to Customs Clearance Manager.
