SAUMA is a modern Indian dine-in restaurantoperating in the entertainment district of Perth. We urgently need a full-time chef to join our team and commence work immediately.

We are looking for someone who meets the following expectations:

• Preferably (not necessarily) an Australian citizen/permanent resident
• Possesses certificate 4 in commercial cookery/Diploma of Hospitality
• Has worked for at least 2 years as a chef in Australia
• Possesses in-depth knowledge in costings and menu planning
• Familiar with Australian health and safety regulations applicable to the hospitality industry
• Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in his/her culinary skills
• Be able to communicate and negotiate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
• Fanatical about a tidy and clean hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are maintained
• Possesses leadership attributes and experience in managing kitchen staff
