JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commi Chef with a strong background in bakery and savoury preparations to join our kitchen team at Faredoons, located in the heart of Fort, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and contribute to the daily operations of our bakery kitchen.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Commi Chef, preferably in a bakery or savoury kitchen.
• Basic knowledge of baking techniques and savoury snack preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with good communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior chefs.
• Formal culinary training is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Assist in preparing a variety of bakery and savoury items (e.g., breads, puffs, rolls, snacks).
• Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
• Support senior chefs in kitchen operations and mise en place.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist with inventory and stock management when required.
