PROJECT ESTIMATOR/MANAGER

Are you a numbers-driven professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for construction? Capital City Paving, a well-established Victoria-based civil contractor operating since 1987, is looking for a Project Estimator/Manager to join our growing team.
This is a key role for someone who takes initiative, and brings both technical skill and strong people skills to the table. You’ll be responsible for estimating and managing a variety of projects across residential, commercial, municipal, and utility sectors — from the first bid to the final invoice.

• Accurately prepare cost estimates for civil construction and paving projects
• Manage projects from start to finish — including bidding, scheduling, execution, and close-out
• Conduct site visits and attend pre-construction meetings
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to align on scope, timelines, and deliverables
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and project profitability with precision
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (MOTI, MMCD, etc.)
• Prepare and manage documentation: proposals, contracts, invoicing, and approvals
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Use a company-supplied vehicle and fuel card for project-related travel
