OVERVIEW

We are looking for a first or second year Apprentice Carpenter with a passion for woodworking and construction. The ideal candidate will have some experience in carpentry and be eager to learn and grow their skills under the guidance of our experienced carpenters. This position requires reliable transportation, as work locations may vary.

REQUIREMENTS

• First or second year carpentry student.
• Must have reliable transportation to access different job sites.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong willingness to learn and take directions from experienced carpenters.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• Punctual and professional work demeanor towards colleagues and customers.

• Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials for various construction projects.
• Follow directions from lead carpenters and project managers to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Learn and apply new skills and techniques in carpentry and construction.
• Work both independently and as part of a team on various projects.
• Demonstrate reliability in attendance and transportation to ensure smooth project progression.
