As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned shelter locations. You will help to deter security-related incidents by remaining visible, conducting routine patrols, and providing excellent customer service to all individuals on site. Your role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and supporting the well-being of those within the shelter. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.80 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the shelter and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or situations. Monitor the shelter environment for any unusual or suspicious activity and report findings in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Assist residents, staff, and visitors with inquiries and direct them appropriately within the shelter. Communicate and collaborate with shelter staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns and/or site updates. Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by site procedures.
