The Maintenance Engineer will provide maintenance, electric and engineering services and support at all St Croix Regional Medical Center locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage organization preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for fire and life safety systems Respond to alarms including trouble, fire and supervisory alarms on system panels Complete required drills including reports Respond to alarms per fire response plan Perform general building maintenance tasks. Oversee operation of HVAC system ensuring proper control sequence and minimal energy consumption; log inconsistent operations and make corrections as needed Execute general building maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, hanging/removing items on walls, installing/uninstalling furniture and other items, moving furniture, boxes, file cabinets, construction materials, assist with minor wall repairs, painting, lock repair and install, replacing light bulbs, ceiling tiles, cleaning vents and fixtures Safely and properly utilize hand and power tools needed to accomplish assigned tasks Perform general maintenance and repair of facility and building equipment including conducting routine and scheduled checks on assigned equipment and systems Respond to work order requests as assigned in a timely manner Perform basic grounds maintenance activities.
