Job Summary The Junior Data Security Specialist will support the implementation, configuration, and operation of data security solutions that protect sensitive data across enterprise environments. The role focuses on Data Activity Monitoring (DAM), data protection controls, and assisting in deployment of data security technologies. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to implement solutions such as Imperva SecureSphere DAM, IBM Guardium, and OpenText VDAM, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS and PII protection. Key Responsibilities Implementation & Deployment Support Assist in installation and configuration of Data Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions. Support deployment of system components including agents, gateways, and collectors. Assist in onboarding databases and applications into monitoring platforms. Monitoring & Policy Support Support creation and configuration of monitoring policies. Assist in tuning policies to reduce false positives. Monitor alerts and escalate suspicious activities. Reporting & Documentation Generate standard reports and dashboards for security monitoring. Assist in preparing: Design documentation As-built documentation Operational guides Compliance & Security Support implementation of controls related to: PCI-DSS PII data protection Assist in audit preparation and evidence collection. Troubleshooting & Support Assist in troubleshooting DAM platform issues. Provide support for customer requests and operational issues. Participate in post-implementation support activities.
