About the Role We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead our Data Platform efforts. As we scale our ingestion of structured and unstructured data and enterprise deployments, our internal data infrastructure will continue to evolve. This role is critical in defining the strategy and roadmap for our data platform, enabling scalable, resilient infrastructure that supports AI/ML feature delivery, real-time analytics, and complex enterprise requirements. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to build modular, extensible data capabilities that power innovation across MaintainX. What You'll Do: Own and drive the long-term vision and multi-year strategy for MaintainX’s data platform, shaping how we ingest, transform, and govern data at scale. Lead prioritization and roadmap planning for foundational data platform capabilities, spanning ingestion, transformation, storage, observability, security, and governance. Collaborate with engineering and AI/ML teams to deliver infrastructure that unlocks data accessibility and simplifies development for internal teams. Partner with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders to translate platform needs into strategic product direction. Build reusable abstraction layers that accelerate ingestion and transformation of structured and unstructured data, especially time-series sensor data. Define KPIs and success metrics for platform adoption, performance, reliability, and developer productivity. Champion a culture of platform thinking across MaintainX by advocating for internal reuse, shared standards, and scalable system design. Act as the connective tissue across technical and business functions, ensuring that platform investments drive measurable impact on product velocity and customer value. What We're Looking For: 6+ years of product management experience, with a focus on internal platforms and/or data infrastructure. Deep understanding of data systems, including distributed storage, real-time pipelines, metadata, observability, and security. Strong technical fluency in technologies like AWS, Databricks, Spark, data lakes, S3, event streaming, or related infrastructure. Proven ability to align multiple product and platform teams around a shared vision and roadmap, including negotiation across competing priorities. Experience with time-series or sensor data at scale; IoT familiarity is a plus. Clear communicator with the ability to inspire stakeholders across all levels, from hands-on engineers to executive sponsors. Strategic thinker with a platform mindset, skilled at balancing long-term architectural investments with near-term delivery.
