Kelvion – Together, We Shape the Future The Role The Shop Cleaner / 5S Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, organization and safety in the shop floor area according to 5S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain). This position plays a critical role in supporting a clean and efficient work environment to improve productivity and reduce workplace hazards. What you will be responsible for: * Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash from shop floors, break rooms, restrooms and offices as needed. * Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with 5S standards. * Restock cleaning and janitorial supplies as needed. * Conduct routine 5S audits and assist teams in correcting non-compliance areas. * Support continuous improvement by identifying areas for better organization or cleanliness. * Safely operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums and power washers. * Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety and environmental guidelines. * Report on maintenance needs or safety concerns to the appropriate department. * Work independently or with team members to always ensure a clean and safe environment. * Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on-site, ability to work overtime. * Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management * Ability to load trucks. * Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
