Min. Requirements:
Civil Engineering bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in heavy construction structural work projects.
Job description:
Provide onsite engineering services and technical support to ensure short term planning and programming of works is completed in conjunction with the site supervision staff. Particular focus in Construction Management, WHS and Quality.
Accurately record and track costs related to plant, materials and labour costs as well as accurate measure of works done for use in Progress Claims and assessment process.
Assist in the development of a detailed programme for day to day activities, look ahead programme and daily program changes, including resources required and material deliveries.
Assist with the management of all lots in accordance with the Project QA system, including opening, closing, testing and creating of material registers. Participate in the collation relevant test results, inspections and records required under the Contract and Specifications.
Assist to manage the disposition of NCRs so that the required quality is achieved, recurrence is prevented and there are no requests for payment reductions due to any compromises in quality.
