Description Reliability Engineer (Golden Aluminum, Inc., Fort Lupton, CO) Ensure the overall design, reliability, and performance for our aluminum rolling mill facility including an upgraded continuous block caster to deploy its innovative Nexcast process which is the first in a series of strategically placed mini mills to serve the growing demand for aluminum in an environmentally friendly way reducing natural gas usage, improve process efficiency, recycle more mixed-grade scrap and serve the market with advanced alloys; design, develop, and implement maintenance and reliability strategies to optimize equipment efficiency, and minimize downtime and enhance the overall operational reliability of the facility; lead and supervise a team of reliability and maintenance professionals to identify and address equipment issues proactively; conduct regular equipment assessments and condition monitoring to identify potential failures and design and implement predictive maintenance measures; collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and improve overall plant reliability; develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPis) to measure and track reliability metrics, providing regular reports to management; work closely with the maintenance team to establish effective preventive maintenance plans and schedules based on analyses of key failures; provide technical expertise in troubleshooting equipment failures and design and implement corrective actions; collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of spare parts and support for critical equipment; and stay abreast of industry best practices, technological advancements, and emerging trends in reliability and maintenance.
