Security Manager
Additional Position Details: FTE: 1.0 | Full Time/salaried position | Primarily Mon - Fri / 8AM - 5PM
Salary: The posted range for this position is $94,141.00 - $129,459.00.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Security Manager is immediately responsible for supervision of Security Officers at designated Asante facilities, functions and maintenance of security equipment, and overall coordination of Security. Responsibilities include enforcing security patrols and ID badges; protecting property from theft, embezzlement, and sabotage; conducting and promoting security officer training relative to department requirements and ensuring all security officers meet and maintain licensing requirements of The State of Oregon; scheduling shifts to ensure appropriate levels of coverage for all affected entities; recommending, preparing, and implementing security related capital budget requests; assisting in preparing department annual operating budget; providing ongoing management of parking which may include coordination of valet services; reporting to appropriate safety committees on security issues and concerns; and serving as liaison to local law enforcement agencies. In this role, the Security Manager also supports the mission and goals of the Asante health system.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years of progressive security experience to include at least two years of supervisory security experience (preferably within a healthcare setting). Please note: Experience in military or law enforcement may substitute for security experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing security teams and implementing security programs.
• Experience with emergency response, incident management, and healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Law enforcement or military experience is preferred.
