About the role As our Work Doctor, you will provide services focused on supporting site-based health requirements for one day per week (8 hours; potential to split over multiple days) and on-going on call telehealth advice. The role is ideal for Occupational Physicians or General Practitioners who are interested in Workplace Health in an industrial setting.   Based in the Health Centre in InfraBuild at Mayfield, you will be provided with a consulting room onsite and have the assistance of a full-time nurse.  You will support both the HR Business Partner & the Occupational Health Advisor at InfraBuild Wire.   Duties may include:   Providing medical consultations on call and on-site with assistance from the company nurse Supporting the site with pre-employment medical & rail medical reviews Conducting Workplace Health Assessments and facilitating sessions on health promotion topics Undertaking fit testing of employees i.e. Health Surveillance Provide advice on non-Work-related injury management Support with Return-to-Work Programs Providing treatments when needed and Medication Management Advice Consult on Medical Case Conferencing Assist with Workers Compensation claims Promote the delivery of safe and quality healthcare services ensuring compliance with Health Standards About your experience We are looking for expressions of interest from Practitioners with previous experience in a similar environment or those interested in extending their expertise to a new setting.
