Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services is seeking a highly skilled and responsible Heavy Truck Driver - (Araic Speaking) to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of client shipments and maintaining high standards of compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating heavy trucks, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in transportation or logistics are a plus.
• Experience: At least [1] years of experience as a heavy truck driver and fresher driver with a strong understanding of transport operations and safety protocols with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading freight.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving techniques.
• Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and understand route planning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and customer service.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Willingness to travel long distances and across borders if necessary.

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks (manual and automatic) for cross-country and cross-border shipments.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client goods, ensuring products are delivered as per schedule and in excellent condition.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods when required, using proper equipment and techniques to ensure safe handling.
• Ensure proper documentation and shipping records (e.g., bills of lading, delivery receipts, etc.) are completed and filed accurately.
• Regularly inspect trucks to ensure they are in safe working condition, including the engine, brakes, tires, lights, and other essential systems.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance and ensure that the vehicle is regularly cleaned and fueled.
• Report major mechanical issues promptly to the fleet maintenance team.
• Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements related to transportation, including traffic laws, driving hours, and licensing.
• Maintain accurate records of all driving logs, fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance as required by local and international regulations.
• Follow company protocols for compliance with transportation-related laws, such as weight limits, dangerous goods handling, and safety standards.
• Report any safety incidents, accidents, or hazardous conditions immediately to management.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism.
• Adhere to all laws governing transportation, including those related to weight limits, vehicle registration, and driver licenses.
• Ensure proper handling of permits, tolls, and any other legal documentation required for cross-border shipments.
