Job Purpose: To co-ordinate Airworthiness Review Certification (ARC) functions and provide technical support to the ARC auditors to ensure ARC review processes are completed in accordance with the GCAA regulatory requirements and in a timely manner.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

• To proactively seek out process enhancements and improvements and contribute to the development of new work processes. Ensure the effective implementation of the use of IT tools and digital data for the smooth and efficient running of the ARC department.
• Monitor GCAA CAR manuals, press releases and public notices for relevant updates to regulations that impact the ARC review process and highlight these to the ARC Manager in order to initiate amendments of internal exposition, engineering procedures manuals and approved forms to meet the regulatory requirements.
• Co-ordinate with ARC Auditors, office of the Nominated Post Holder (NPH) FTM, Projects and Emirates Legal to complete the online GCAA applications for the aircraft Certificate of Registration, Certificate of Airworthiness, Noise Certificate, Aircraft Station Licence and Mode S code reservation after verifying the status of Type Certificate Data Sheets (TCDS), Flight Manuals, Maintenance Manual, Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) and Minimum Equipment List (MEL) supplements for new and in-service aircraft.
• Work with FTM/Projects to complete the CAR OPS compliance forms as required for new Aircraft deliveries.
• Schedule all ARC Reviews through Q-Pulse system and ensure timely acquisition of relevant technical documents from Technical Records Section for the ARC review, and putting the renewed certificates on board the Aircraft.
• Review all invoices received from GCAA for ARC and Aircraft Certificate issuance, renewals and endorsements for correct billing and authorise the required payments.
• Facilitate Aircraft visits of the GCAA Airworthiness Surveyors for Aircraft Physical Surveys.
• Approve on-line requests to Telecommunication and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) Abu Dhabi for Wireless Services License renewals and on-line e-services to GCAA for Certificate of Registration (C of R), Certificate of Airworthiness (C of A) and Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) endorsements.
• Responsible for the maintenance and safe keeping of ARC process records for each aircraft that cover details such as Aircraft Registration, Manufacturer’s Serial number, expiry/renewal dates of the certificates, Maximum Take-off Weight and fees paid.
• Carrying out on-job-training with the team on existing and newly developed processes/systems to enhance and improve day to day activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE, YOU MUST MEET THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS:

• +5 year Engineering exerperience
• 12 Years schooling or equivalent
• Experience in Aviation Engineering.
• Higher Education holders require less years of experience. Degrees should ideally be in Engineering Aeronautical / Mechanical / Electrical discipline.
• UAE driving licence and/or Dubai Airports airport driving permit.
• Experience in a commercial airline environment, ideally in an aircraft maintenance and repair or quality assurance section.
• Preferred knowledge of ARC procedures and processes.
• Air Legislation for UAE GCAA requirements.
• Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
• Aircraft GCAA Certification and Quality systems.
