We are looking for an experienced DevOps Developer with at least 5-7 years of experience to join a fast-paced, growing IT services company. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to automate Cloud workloads, including Azure, IBM, AWS, OCI, GCP using Terraform and Ansible. This role involves supporting the architecture for cloud (mostly Azure) data components and ensuring seamless integration and automation and having in-depth knowledge of Databricks and Azure Data Factory would be considered an asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining high-quality IaC using Terraform and Ansible, adhering to strict code standards and best practices. Proven ability to architect IaC solutions that are scalable, modular, and easily adoptable across multiple landscapes.
• Maintainable and Performant IaC: Experience in developing IaC that is easy to maintain, highly performant, and designed for long-term sustainability.
• Cloud Optimization: Strong skills in optimizing cloud resources for both performance and cost efficiency, ensuring the best use of available resources while minimizing expenses.
• Cloud API Automation: Expertise in leveraging Cloud APIs to automate monitoring, resource optimization, and operational workflows, ensuring seamless integration and proactive management of cloud environments.
• Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, with experience in designing and supporting Azure data and infrastructure components. Familiarity with Databricks and Azure Data Factory is a strong asset.
• CI/CD Implementation: Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Scripting and Automation: Advanced skills in scripting languages such as Bash, Python and PowerShell to support automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Security and Compliance: Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements to safeguard organizational data and assets.
• Collaboration and Communication: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including internal and external development and operations teams, to deliver seamless solutions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve infrastructure and deployment issues efficiently.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Experience in documenting processes and procedures to ensure consistency and facilitate team knowledge sharing.
• Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
• Proven ability to automate Azure workloads using Terraform and Ansible
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Extensive experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Strong knowledge of Databricks and Azure Data Fabric is considered an asset
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
