SR RF VALIDATION ENGINEER

Skyworks is seeking a RF SiP Validation/Optimization Engineer for its Diversified Analog Solutions (DAS) Division in Ottawa, Canada design center. If you are a motivated candidate with skills and interest in RF component testing, our Skyworks Ottawa, Canada design center is looking for you! As a home to an elite team of top RF professionals you will work side by side with a mentor and grow your skills working on real products. Here we specialize in RF connectivity products covering a range of solutions, end markets and applications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience in RF component testing
• 5+ years of experience in high-performance mixed-signal IC lab characterization and testing
• Familiar with common programming languages such as LabView and python, and experience with databases such as SQL and MySQL
• Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
• Proficient in RF Test. Testing includes s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, TOI, DEVM and harmonics to mention some.
• Proficient in GPIB, IEEE 488.2, serial communications
• In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
• Operate independently with minimal supervision

The typical base pay range for this role is currently CAD $78,800 - $134,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
