Regions Hospital has a great opportunity to join our nursing team as a RN in Mental Health to work with an incredible team of people who have a passion for caring for others!  Northeast 4 has 18 private rooms/bathrooms (some handicapped accessible), two incarceration rooms, separate dining and day room space, a spacious group room, a comfort room, and open areas for visiting and relaxing. In addition, patients have access to a large activity room and secured outdoor space. Patients on this unit are 18 years and older and are experiencing an acute mental health illness with high acuity and requiring intensive care. In addition, our patients may have medical/surgical conditions that are being treated and require intervention. We are working to remove the stigma that surrounds mental illness so everyone can get the treatment they need. Regions Hospital is a leader in mental health. We treat all mental illnesses in adults at our state-of-the-art facility which means we can provide comprehensive, personalized care for all our patient’s needs, no matter how complex. Our Professional Nursing Practice Model offers patient and family-centered care that maintains an unwavering focus on what matters most: caring and healing at the patient’s bedside. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Regions Hospital supports nurses with an individualized orientation including Transition to Regions Hospital Practice program which is a nurse residency structured program to support learning, role transition, and retention of nurses.
