Key Responsibilities * Ensure accurate and complete patient information is collected and communicated to support coordination of care * Facilitate communication between physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary departments * Schedule and coordinate daily tests, procedures, and appointments * Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all patient tests, procedures, and unit activity * Manage patient flow by signing patients in and out of the unit as appropriate * Perform front desk and receptionist functions, including greeting visitors and responding to inquiries * Identify and communicate operational needs, concerns, or process improvement opportunities to unit leadership * Perform clerical and administrative duties in support of the assigned unit, including specialized areas such as Pediatric Critical Care (as applicable) Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED required * Completion of a Medical Assistant or Medical Secretary program, or equivalent experience, preferred * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred * One (1) to three (3) years of administrative or healthcare-related experience preferred * Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred * Ability to successfully complete required training programs, if applicable * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint   Key Skills and Competencies * Strong organizational and time management skills * Effective verbal and written communication * Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation * Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment * Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient and team member satisfaction
