The RN Clinical Director is responsible for home health clinical services in-house with a focus on OASIS pre-review, review and clinical documentation oversight. As the RN Clinical Director, you will review individual patient medical record/Plan of Care for compliance with Medicare, Medicaid and Managed Care regulations and company policies, making recommendations for improvements. The position facilitates recommendations and modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians, verbally and electronically, and other members of the health care team to ensure a complete medical record/Plan of Care is in place to support individual outcomes-based care plans, and timely coding and OASIS submission guidelines. In this role, the RN Clinical Director also hires, reviews, and directs staff in performance of home health agency duties to include admissions, discharge and provision of service to patients. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse educational program Registered Nurse / RN licensed in the state of Georgia Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of supervisory or management experience in home health care or other healthcare related field OASIS data assessment tool experience utilized by home health services required Knowledge of Medicare regulations related to documentation and clinical outcomes management for home health MS Office basic to intermediate skill set; electronic medical record (EMR) experience Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a positive manner with clinical team members, physicians and external contacts Proficient in organization, planning and execution to ensure quality and productivity in work effort strong business acumen and facilitation skills
