Oversees the nightly operation of the pharmacy. What You’ll Do: · Deliver expert pharmacy support across 679 beds, on night shift (7 days on/7 days off, Thursday night through Wednesday night rotation). · Train and become an expert on: Inpatient Operations Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding Operations Controlled Substances Operations Triaging nursing and provider pharmacy services needs · Gain additional exposure to direct clinical patient care, with flexibility to cover shifts as needed and based on skills and performance. · Participate in additional rotational night shift coverage Beyond the Bench: · Collaborate on protocol development, guideline updates, and departmental goals. · Ensure safe, effective medication use through order verification, regimen design, and therapy monitoring. · Partner with pharmacy leadership and medical staff to optimize patient care and drug therapies.
